With the encouragement from friends, I am starting this blog which will be mainly, but not strictly on the Microlaunchers idea. Some of my outlook on the present situation relevant to development of space exploration will attempt to show what I’ve thought should be done, and how we are stuck in a post Apollo era.

Microlaunchers (ML for short) will be presented in a Why What How format, as has been the several presentations in the website microlaunchers.com .

Why: The premise, the analogy to the “Mainframe Era” of computers before the mid-1970s and how the advent of Altair and its kind changed everything. The dismal history of the present government dominated evolution since WW-2 and the Cold War swallowed up Goddard’s work…

What: Some of the forms a vertically integrated exploration system might take–that present technology makes this possible.

How: Ways this could get started by forming a core community of interested, trying for prizes like the upcoming Nano Satellite Challenge, with the $2 million prize, developing low cost Cubesat launch service etc.

My friend said I should post daily. I’m not sure I can write meaningful content that often, but will try.
